Here, you will work with and learn from some of our best caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world Exercise Physiologists develop exercise prescription and oversees exercise progression in patients with cardiovascular disease in a rehabilitative setting. **This is a Part-time position (20 hours per week) hours are 5:30am to 4:30pm (will work 2 10 hour shifts per week)** **A caregiver who excels in this role will:** + Provides patient testing before and after rehabilitation including strength, body composition, flexibility, balance and endurance. + Provides exercise prescription for patients utilizing test data, patient status and current medication regimen; updates prescription according to patient response. Implements concepts of cardiac secondary prevention. + Recognizes contraindications to exercise and abnormal patient responses to exercise. + Responds appropriately to all situations including exercise cessation and referral to medical professionals. + Provides exercise information for patients, peers and the community which may include public speaking and education classes. + Other duties as assigned. **Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:** + Bachelor's or Master's degree in exercise-related field. + American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. **Preferred qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:** + Minimum of 3-6 months internship or equivalent work experience working with cardiopulmonary patients and their families Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
