Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: (Education Requirements and Experience):
Experience: Experience from a formal Cardiac Rehabilitation internship program preferred. Education: Bachelors Degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or Exercise Kinesiology required. Masters degree required within 5 years of employment.

Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: (Has Achieved Competency in the Following Areas, Job Knowledge and Additional Considerations):
Training: BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire. Exercise Specialist Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine is required within 2 years of hire.

Licensure/Certification Required:
Licensure & Certification: BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire. Exercise Specialist Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine is required within 2 years of hire.
