Supplier Recovery/Expeditor

Position: Supplier Recovery/Expeditor

Location: Detroit Area, Michigan - Travel to Massachusetts and Indianapolis may also be required

Duration: 3 months contract with potential extension

Frequency: 2-3 days per week

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

On-site material expediting and supplier recovery at the supplierFollow plans and manufacturing orders including in and out to external suppliersDevelop and communicate weekly and daily manufacturing schedule and report to ensure 100% on time deliveryManage details of production schedule to maximize productivity of manufacturing and external treatments and shipping departmentsResolve scheduling conflicts and prioritize customer requirementsCommunicate any risks for the deliveries to customerIdentify and implement appropriate planning, management and control strategies for production and on time deliveryParticipate to customer and supplier meeting and provide updates of the manufacturing plan Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum 5 years of experience in supply chainExperience with precision machining and complexe surface treatmentAbility to communicate and present to multiple level of the organizationStrong communication skills and ability to summarize complexe subjectsComputer Saavy (Outlook, microsoft suite, etc.)Candidate must have a laptop and mobileAvailable to travelMust have a laptop Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
