Job Responsibilities/Duties
Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) seeks an expeditor that will assist the Production Control Center organization. The Expeditor will work under direct supervision and will assists with expediting, organizing, and performing administrative and technical duties, in support of scheduled tasks to achieve the organization's operational and maintenance deliverables and commitments.
* Build knowledge of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) work steps (Scope, Analyze Hazards, Identify Controls, Perform Work, Feedback);
* Review and escalate documents necessary to expedite work prior to submitting for approval including design packages, field implementation packages, new operating procedures, and associated training;
* Maintain work package control for the team to ensure they are ready for work and any other necessary actions. Maintains databases used for work package tracking. Tracks progress of where a work package is at in the planning too ready to work process;
* Work with Field Work Supervisor (FWS) on obtaining and reviewing work documents to ensure documents are current (Radiological Work Permits [RWPs], Work Permits, Procedures, Waste Planning Checklists [WPC], etc.) and ready for work in support of scheduling activities and prior to deploying to the field;
* Contribute to the development and preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) metrics and monthly production metrics;
* Review the organization's Task Information System daily;
* Maintain training program files, materials, required training and attendance;
* Ensure next day's work packages are ready for work and ready for team's release authority for release
* Ensure that materials and any special equipment for a job are available when needed, including submitting material orders/tracking status;
* Responsible to order waste containers, when needed, at least two weeks in advance
* May assist Field Work Supervisor (FWS) and Work Week Manager (WWM) with submitting and following up on service requests, for example, for maintenance services from another Hanford prime contractor
* Attends the Plan of the Day (POD) status meeting for work status documentation;
* Partake in the work package closeout process ensuring all responsible authorities/parties have properly documented worker hours spent on a job, measurement and test equipment data, and other job-related information, have signed off on required documentation. Accurately statuses the package in the computerized maintenance management system; and
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Please Note: This position is being advertised under the current Tank Operations Contractor, Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS). However, now that transition activities have begun a candidate selected for employment may be hired under the incoming contractor, Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) contract. Further details will be provided during the hiring process.
Required Qualifications
Grade 13:
* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Project Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Grade 14:
* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Project Management or related field; and
* Two (2) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
*Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.
Grade 15:
* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Project Management or related field; and
* Three (3) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
*Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is greatly increased.
Desired Qualifications
* Familiarity with Hanford Tank Operations Contractor or other DOE site field operations.
* Strong understanding of the Rolling Work Week scheduling process.
* Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, software.

Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, WRPS takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made within the targeted hiring range posted. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
Hiring Range Minimum: $66,338
Hiring Range Maximum: $101,175
