Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for an Expense leadership role on the Accounts Payable Team in our Raleigh, North Carolina (NC) office.
We are seeking an energetic individual with strong leadership skills who will act as an integral member of the Payables Team. This position will provide support for offices throughout the country. This is not a remote position.
ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership
Lead and manage the expense report review teamHire, train, and mentor team membersOversee team workload, deadlines, and quality controlExpense Management
Review and approve employee expense reportsEnsure compliance with company policies and regulationsHandle escalations and follow-ups on expense issuesProcess Improvement
Evaluate and improve review proceduresAnalyze helpdesk trends to reduce volume and improve trainingCompile and act on monthly performance metrics (KPIs)Collaboration & Support
Work with the Amex administrator to resolve credit card issuesProvide training to employees on expense policiesOffer backup support to other team members as neededDeliver excellent internal and external customer service Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience2+ years in a leadership roleStrong attention to detail, communication, and time managementComfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environmentIntermediate Excel skillsAnalytical mindset for process improvementPreferred Skills
