Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Med Ctr of the Rockies, US:CO:Loveland Department: Experience And Innovation FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 40.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary - UCHealth Experience Design Strategist: UCHealth is seeking an Experience Design Strategist to lead experience innovation across our Northern Colorado Hospitals (Greeley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, Poudre Valley Hospital). This role is responsible for translating patient and community insights into experience strategies that drive compassionate, consistent, and human-centered care. By apply design thinking principles, collaborating across disciplines, and championing the voice of the patient, you'll help shape how care is delivered across the continuum. Responsibilities: + Develop and implement experience design strategies- Create and operationalize strategies that improve patient and family experiences, ensuring alignment with UCHealth's mission, values and brand promise. + Conduct research and gather insights- Lead discovery efforts including qualitative research, environmental scans, and analysis of patient feedback to uncover unmet needs and pain points across the journey. + Collaborate across teams to co-design improvements- Partner with clinical and non-clinical teams, operation leaders, and patients to prototype and implement solutions that address root causes of experience challenges. + Leverage design thinking to drive innovation- Apply design thinking methodology to reimagine care interactions, environments, and communication, delivering experiences that are seamless, empathetic, and efficient. What You'll Bring: + Proven experience in experience design, hum-centered design, or service design, preferably in healthcare or a highly complex setting. + Strong ability to analyze patient date and feedback to inform design decisions. + Comfort navigating ambiguity and translating insights into clear, actionable strategies. + Exceptional collaboration, facilitation and communication skills. + Passion for advocation on behalf of patients, families, and communities. Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in related field. + 4 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in experience design, healthcare innovation, or a related field + Training or hands-on experience in design thinking, service design, or service blueprinting. + Experience in mixed methods data analysis a plus. + Bachelor's degree in design, healthcare administration, communication or a related field.
