Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Experienced, Lead or Senior Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 3:

Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

Position Responsibilities - Lead Level 4:

Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

Position Responsibilities – Senior Level 5:

Develops procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements.Develops and executes company strategic business goals and objectives.Consults on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategies.Formalizes procurement requirements with customers and leads the supplier negotiation process.Prepares and executes negotiated documents.Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.Manages contract terminations.Develops organization and company improvement plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Three or more years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base ManagerThree or more years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processesThree or more years of procurement experience in a defense and/or government environmentThree or more years of experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposalsThree or more years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and WordStrong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higherThree or more years of experience in SAP Procure to Pay or Accounts PayableActive Top Secret/SCI security clearanceExperienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceLead Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceSenior Level 5: More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced Level 3: Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Lead Level 4: Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior Level 5: Typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range for Experienced Level 3: $79,900 - $98,700

Summary pay range for Lead Level 4: $102,000 - $126,000

Summary pay range for Senior Level 5: $125,800 - $155,400
