You will work closely with clients to analyse project needs, develop strategies for efficient project delivery, and offer guidance and support to help clients enhance project management practices, mitigate risks, and achieve successful outcomes.

Job Description 

We are seeking an Experienced Associate to join our Capital Projects and Infrastructure team in the Bangalore Acceleration Center. This role supports large-scale capital programs and infrastructure projects with a focus on sustainability, technology integration, and risk management. 

Key Responsibilities 

Demonstrates proven thorough knowledge and success, as both an individual contributor and team member, in identifying and addressing client needs in capital projects and infrastructure: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; effectively communicating a broad range of Firm services; and managing assigned tasks, including preparing concise, accurate documentation and maintaining project timelines and economics while demonstrating flexibility for unanticipated challenges. 

Demonstrated and proven thorough knowledge of capital project lifecycles, including planning, design, execution, and monitoring, particularly within the engineering, construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors. 

Proven experience and exposure to driving performance improvements across capital project delivery processes in three or more of the following areas: 

Project scheduling and planning using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project or similar systems. 

Process review, redesign, and implementation to enhance project efficiency and reduce risks. 

Risk analysis, mitigation planning, and compliance tracking. 

Cost control and budgeting, including identifying cost reduction opportunities. 

Design, implement, and support cross-functional business process improvements with technology solutions. 

Work with analytics and construction management tools, such as Cora, Power BI, Primavera P6, Primavera Unifier, @Risk, Tableau, and Visio. 

Data collection, analysis, and visualization using tools like Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. 

Contract and procurement management, including vendor assessment and optimization. 

Sustainability integration, including ESG compliance and reporting.

Providing support and constructive feedback to less-experienced staff. 

Proven ability to develop and sustain client relationships using networking, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to identify opportunities and contribute to business growth. Effectively prepares and presents written and verbal materials, such as RFP responses, proposals, and project updates. 

Assists with defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, and billing while ensuring timely execution and quality delivery of client engagements. 

 

 

Education 

Degrees/Field of Study Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related field. 

Preferred Degrees: Master’s in Construction Management, Project Engineering & Management, Sustainability, or Business Administration (MBA). 

 

Certifications 

Preferred Certifications: 

Project Management Professional (PMP) 

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) 

Primavera P6 Professional Certification 

Certifications in Power BI or Tableau 

 

Required Skills 

Knowledge of capital project lifecycles, including planning, design, and execution. 

Understanding of sustainability principles and ESG frameworks in infrastructure projects. 

Basic proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau. 

Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project). 

Develop process design maps using tools like Visio and IBM Blueworks to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. 

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. 

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams. 

 

Preferred Skills 

Exposure to risk analysis and mitigation using tools like @Risk or Monte Carlo simulations. 

Experience with infrastructure projects such as renewable energy or data center construction. 

Understanding of industry challenges in sectors like construction, utilities, or manufacturing. 

Travel Requirements 

Up to 20%, depending on client needs.
