The opportunity

We are currently seeking Experienced Auditors (m/f) to join the team and help our clients meet their requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. Your key responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements with high quality for our clients
• Leading fieldwork and keeping engagement leaders updated on projects developments
• Working closely with colleagues, determine whether the work plan is properly executed, documented and concluded in compliance with Quality & Risk Management guidelines
• Actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships 
• Completing audit processes, identifying areas of audit significance and documenting higher-risk areas
• Anticipating and identifying risks and escalate issues as appropriate
• Preparing memoranda, working papers, letters and correspondence 
• Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes 
• Creating a positive learning culture, coaching junior team members and helping them to develop professionally and personally
• Understanding our clients’ needs and demonstrating a dedication to continually improve our services

To qualify for the role you must have

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment (external audit)
• Thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques
• Familiarity with IFRS and Croatian Financial Reporting Standards
• Understanding of risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies
• Understanding of Q&RM procedures
• Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements
• Results-oriented approach with keen attention to high quality, details and accuracy, self-motivation, teamwork and desire to exceed expectations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Croatian and English 
• Eligibility to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements

Working location: Zagreb, Croatia with travelling - depending on project needs
