We are looking for a skilled bookkeeper to join our Finance group to oversee the complete accounting management of the company and support financial processes.

 

Job Description:

As an Experienced Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the daily management of the organization's accounting records, including bookkeeping up to the balance sheet, bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations, as well as handling VAT and other taxes.

 Key Responsibilities:

Management of Accounting Records: Accurately record and process vendors' and customers' invoices in the accounting system Perform thorough reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts. Post expenses and reconcile credit card statements. Handle monthly journal entries and participate in the monthly closing. Process timely payments to vendors. Preparation of Financial Statements up to Balance Sheet: Prepare financial records for internal reporting, including trial balances, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for submission to the parent company. Work closely with external auditors to prepare the annual financial report and ensure timely audit completion. Tax Management and Payments: Ensure accurate VAT reporting and compliance with withholding taxes and other tax regulations. Provide support in preparing materials and documents for external audits related to taxation. Internal Customer Service: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and banks Generate ad-hoc financial reports for the finance department as needed. Oversee the recording of travel expenses and employee reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company

 

Requirements and skills: Certification in Accounting (Level 2/3) In-depth understanding of accounting regulations and reporting. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping up to balance sheet. Experience with multi-currency accounting Proven expertise in Priority accounting software Advanced Excel skills. Strong understanding of VAT regulations, taxes, and financial reporting. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and organizational skills Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting strict deadlines. Fluent in English.
