Exciting role for a project architect to join this leading practice with a diversity of work across Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle and beyond. Projects include boutique apartments, public, masterplans, commercial offices and various mixed use projects. A collaborative, creative and supportive practice that enjoys a strong reputation for design and sustainability. 

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with Directors and other team members on a range of projects  Lead client meetings and consultant teams Contribute to design and design development of projects Mentor and develop younger staff in the team Provide construction advice to less experienced team members

Skills and Experience

Architectural Registration  Operating at a level equal to 8-10+ years of experience Demonstrated management of design projects from concept to completion Excellent design portfolio and conceptual design skills from a variety of sectors including multi-residential, commercial, and urban design Experience leading projects ideally gained in larger practice Design thinking and problem solving skills Strong written and verbal communication Revit skills Positive attitude towards collaboration and encouragement/mentoring of junior staff Knowledge of Australian standards and statutory regulations
