What you’ll be doing:
Responsibilities include designing low and medium voltage power systems, lighting systems and associated controls, fire alarm and mass notification systems; preparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systems; developing probable construction costs; providing construction administration and site visits; mentoring less experienced staff. Some travel will be required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical or Architectural engineering from an accredited four-year college or university 5+ years of relevant electrical experience PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states Strong organizational and communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Expertise in designing low and medium voltage power systems, lighting systems and controls, and fire alarm and detection systems. Proficiency in preparing construction document drawings using Revit. Experience with electrical system design software (EasyPower preferred) and lighting calculation software (AGI32 preferred). Ability to coordinate the preparation of construction documents and specifications. Experience providing construction administration services and site visits. Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and designers. Experience interacting with clients throughout various project stages.What we offer:
