Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services is searching for an Experienced F-15 Electrical Technicians to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Position Responsibilities:

Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.Coordinates assembly, disassembly, or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.Solves sophisticated problems pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results).Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.Complete training.Works under general direction.

Aircraft Electrician:

Able to perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.Ability and understanding of routing instructions and handling of harnesses.Perform efforts associated with sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes.Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair.Experienced in the use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at New Orleans, LA.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Minimum of 1 year of experience in military aircraft maintenance and/or modificationMinimum of 1 year of experience as a Electrical Mechanic working with various electrical components on aircraftWilling to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years of related work, Bachelor, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift:

This position is for variable shift.

This position is eligible for a Stipend payment in addition to salary for eligible candidates.

Summary pay range: $59,500 - $80,500.
