The F-22 Raptor team has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced F-22 System Test Engineer (Level 3) to join the Agile Integration Lab (AIL) in Berkeley, MO with a focus on developing cutting edge solutions to continue the advancement of the world’s premier air superiority fighter.

As a System Test Engineer, you will be responsible for adapting F-22 aircraft requirements to test requirements, generating test plans, developing test procedures, executing tests in the AIL and on-board the Flying Test Bed (FTB), analyzing test data, writing test reports, and providing problem report documentation of test anomalies. 

Candidate must be effective at working on an Agile Cross-Functional team, dynamically collaborating with design, software, and test engineers to support the effective fielding of aircraft capabilities through system integration lab test and out to Development & Operational Flight test (DT/OT). Candidate must be effective at working on a diverse team that partners Boeing, Lockheed Martin and the United States Air Force (USAF).

Position Overview:

Supports the development and verification of test methodsReviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customerPrepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirementsUse accurate security protocols in the day to day operations of the labPerform test setup and supportDocumentation and record activities, process and procedures within the operations of the Avionics LabsSupport a safe working environment and safety initiatives during lab operationsAssists in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methodsSupports development of test debrief materialParticipates in evaluation of test performance dataPrepares test data for review and buy-off

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Export Control:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

This position requires the ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.Ability to obtain F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) clearanceExperience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems roleCapable of traveling 10% of the time5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors OR 3+ years of work related experience with a Masters

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience in the Aerospace IndustryExperience using good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team environmentExperience creating, developing, and/or maintaining engineering processesExperience with electronic/electrical system designs based on requirementsStrong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architectureExperience or training with computer programming languages (e.g., Matlab, Python, Visual Basic)Candidate demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $96,050 - $129,950
