Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Fabrication Specialist (Composite) to support the Composite Fabrication Team based in West Jordan, Utah.

Shift preference is granted to teammates based on their seniority. It is important to note that these positions may require a 2nd shift schedule based on the business's needs.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasksComposite bagging and formingComposite drilling and bondingTooling preparationMachine set up and operationOverhead crane operation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in manufacturing1+ years of experience with composite layup1+ years of experience in composite fabrication processesAbility to lift up to 35 poundsAbility to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance dataExperience with Contoured Tape Layup MachineExperience with Radius Filler operationsExperience with AFGM processesExperience with Quality operations
