Who are we?

At the Group Driving Performance & Aero, we hold the responsibility for the core feature of driving performance. This encompasses energy economy, driving range, CO2/GHG emissions, drivability, and average speed. Our work spans feature management, complete vehicle testing for aero, soiling, energy efficiency, and range. Additionally, we specialize in developing and executing state-of-the-art complete vehicle simulations, utilizing cutting-edge software in the loop and hardware in the loop technologies.

What you will do

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for conducting comprehensive vehicle simulations focused on driving performance metrics, including energy economy, driving range, average speed, drivability, and CO2 emissions. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and delivering high-quality calculation models and results, while proposing optimal simulation and analysis approaches to enhance our understanding of vehicle dynamics. You will utilize control systems and function simulation to draw insightful conclusions and make informed recommendations, ensuring that all analyses align with design targets and industry standards. Your commitment to continuous improvement will drive the enhancement of methods and tools, positioning you as a specialist in the field. As a leader in this domain, you will execute complex simulations and analyses, providing essential technical solutions to project engineers on a global scale. You will also spearhead innovation initiatives through collaboration and tool development, mentoring and training junior engineers, and contributing to the overall product and system roadmaps. Additionally, you will evaluate project content and estimate timelines, actively participating in the development and enhancement of methodologies and tools to ensure the success of our projects. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of vehicle performance analysis and simulation. 

Who are you?

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications reached by at least 2 years of working experience in the automotive business or similar. 

 

Passion for Innovation: Bring your enthusiasm for innovation and your fresh perspective to our team. Your creativity will be a driving force in pushing the boundaries of automotive technology.  Useful Hands-On Testing Experience: Your expertise in testing will be useful in driving innovation. Share your practical insights, gained through hands-on experience, to enrich our projects and shape the future of automotive technology.  Engineering Background: A background in engineering, with a preference for candidates holding a master's or at least a bachelor's degree, is highly desirable.   Simulation Experience: Experience of complete vehicle driving performance simulations is preferred and highly valued. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and Python is also essential. Additionally, knowing agile workflow is a plus.  Fast Learner and Problem Solver: We value your ability to quickly adapt and find innovative solutions.
