Kimley-Horn is looking for an Experienced Grants Professional to join our Fort Myers, Florida (FL) office! This is not a remote position.
ResponsibilitiesLocating, applying for, and administering grants on behalf of our clients, which include local governments, agencies, and organizations.
These grants may be used as funding for a variety of development purposes and projects.
Funding sources may include Federal, State, and Local agencies, as well other sources such as Legislative Appropriations, foundations, or other third-party organizations.

Establishing organizational tools to facilitate grant management
Maintaining the annual program calendar by strategic business planning (identifying clients, project, and grants that align and proposing targeted outreach to internal partners and clients)
Researching and being fluent in the requirements of a wide variety of grants and third-party funding opportunities
Developing grant proposals
Directly communicating and coordinating with the client
Coordinating with internal partners at Kimley-Horn regarding technical aspects of the grant application requirements
Formulating grant and/or third-party funding applications
Completing grant specific reports
Coordinating with our marketing team for graphics and support
Managing grant submittals as requested on behalf of client
