As an Experienced Manufacturing Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our Aerospace business unit. You will be based in Clearwater, FL and contribute to the manufacturing process of aerospace products.
\nThis Technician position is within the Defense group. In addition to hands-on assemblies, the Technician will assist in creating layout for future builds. Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications. Technician should be capable of providing work direction and technical training and guidance to other technicians as needed. The ability to read schematics, follows written procedures, and apply computer skills and technical knowledge.
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• 1st shift 7:30am-4:00pm Monday - Friday
• Performs standard processes on a variety of aerospace assemblies using print and parts list.
\n• Assist in creating layout for future builds
\n• Work with customers and coworkers (both technicians and engineers) to resolve execution issues
\n• Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement.
\n• Additional tasks will be assigned by WFS/Supervisor to support business requirements.
\n• Execute 5S, Safety, equipment/lab maintenance and HOS tasks daily
\n• Performs a variety of tasks
\n• Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical and physical risks is anticipated.
\n•Work with customers and coworkers (both technicians and engineers) to resolve execution issues.

US Citizen Requirements
\nMust be a US citizen due to contractual requirements
\n\n
YOU MUST HAVE
• 2+ years of experience in electronics or in a related area
• Associate degree, Technical School Diploma or 2 years college coursework in Electronics or related discipline is preferred
\n• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
\n• The ability, flexibility and willingness to flex hours during the work week, including overtime and weekends on a long-term daily basis as business needs require.
\n• Follows instructions and applies Honeywell policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
\n

\n• Proficient in the use and setup of standard Electrical Engineering lab equipment.
\n• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n• Must have the ability, flexibility and willingness to flex hours during the work week, including overtime and weekends on a long-term daily basis as business needs require.
\n• Ability to lift up to 35lb to waist height
