Job Summary:
The Experienced Mechanical Designer plays a key role in creating detailed design solutions tailored to client needs. This position requires strong technical expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems, the ability to analyze blueprints, and the skill to perform site surveys. You'll work closely with engineers, estimators, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.\n

Responsibilities:\n\nDesign & Documentation:\n\nDevelop design concepts based on client specifications.\nCreate accurate and coordinated drawings with other trades and physical structures.\nAnalyze blueprints and prepare HVAC and plumbing calculations.\nReference and integrate building codes and standards into designs.\n\n\nCollaboration & Support:\n\nPerform site surveys and collaborate with vendors for equipment selection.\nAttend project and progress meetings to ensure alignment with client needs.\nProvide technical direction to mechanical designers and technicians.\nCommunicate effectively with clients to gather data for project success.\n\n\n\n

Qualifications:\n\n3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, or pipe systems.\nProficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Fabrication CADmep, Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Carrier HAP.\nStrong understanding of mechanical building codes and construction standards.\nAbility to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\n

Education & Certification:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nBachelor's degree or technical trade school completion preferred.\nValid Pennsylvania driver's license.\n3-5 years of relevant construction and project experience.\n\n

Working Conditions:\n\nThis role includes both office work and fieldwork, requiring walking, standing, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and navigating job sites.\nOccasional travel to job sites with possible exposure to uneven surfaces and outdoor environments.\n\n
