We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical EIT in our Facilities Department. Become a leader at Century Engineering, A Kleinfelder Company. The MEP Division is a highly innovative division within the Facilities Department. The Facilities Division is a multi-disciplinary team that works on focused and multi-disciplinary project opportunities in numerous private and public markets. The right candidate can sit in any of our New Cumberland, PA, Dover, DE, Falls Church, VA or Hunt Valley, MD offices.
Responsibilities
Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.Perform routine mechanical engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.Write and edit mechanical specifications, and select mechanical systems and devices.Utilize engineering software to develop HVAC loads, energy analysis and mechanical equipment selections.Prepare construction documents for HVAC and plumbing design of buildings, including drawings, specifications and reportsWork independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projectsRequirements
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years experienceEIT or ability to obtain within 6 monthsExperience with equipment selection softwareProficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a plusSkills and Experience
Excellent verbal and written skills are requiredPublic Speaking/Presentation skills are a plusThe ability to work indepndently and in a collaborative environment is importantMove Forward with Kleinfelder
