We are currently seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our Energy R&D. This position will base in Shanghai Zhangjiang office. Energy R&D Secondary CE team is responsible for some big products (compact cubicles) maintenance and design development. These products will have a lot of projects in the next years, and needs to reinforce the designer team. This position will report to the Secondary CE Team Leader; be responsible for the creation and maintenance of mechanical designs within the R&D team. The full scope of the responsibility includes all mechanical engineering activities needed to sustain and support development.  Find alternative solutions in accordance with the whole project objectives\: Marketing, industrial and qualityBe in charge of giving a detailed definition of the product.Ensure to provide the right quality level of technical deliverables at each project development phaseDesign totally or in part the medium voltage product’s mechanical assemblyKeep improving the quality of Schneider medium voltage productAssist the production unit when mass production startsUnderstand project management, provide basic supportProvide support to Operations for legacy productsEnsure products comply with relevant safety & environmental impact legislation
