Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or SeniorProcurement Agent to join our dynamic KC-46 team in Everett, Washington.  This position is diverse and exciting in the work statement it will touch, from development effort to production and recovery strategies.

Position Responsibilities:

Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategiesNegotiates pricing and contract terms and conditionsPrepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreementsKnowledge of various methods of contracting (UCA, Letter Award, etc.)Conducts risk, issues and opportunities managementManages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceInitiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategiesPerforms continuous review and analysis of demand and supplyPrepares and executes proprietary information agreementsDevelops and supports sourcing strategiesDevelops and manages requests for proposals, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreementsCommunicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 1 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.More than 1 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.More than 1 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 3 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or BuyerMore than 3 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range for Experienced: $79,900 - $98,700

Summary pay range for Senior: $102,000 - $126,000
