Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an ExperiencedSoftware Developer – Data Engineering to support our dynamic team in Multiple Locations.
This is a hybrid position and can be located at any of the listed locations: Berkeley, MO; Charleston, SC; Everett, WA; Ridley Park, PA, San Antonio, TX; Arlington, VA.
Integrated Champion Environment (ICE) enables production teams to manage work statements, optimize labor charging, and proactively address non-conformances. This leads to improved shop floor execution, enhanced performance visibility, and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, these applications empower supporting functions such as production engineering by providing necessary data and insights to optimize processes, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, ICE and PIVT enable teams to meet production targets, improve quality, and foster a culture of ongoing improvement.
Duties will include:
Position Responsibilities:
Participates in research and development (R&D) of advanced computing technologies. Investigates and documents emerging technology trends and products. Assists in customer consultations. Delivers major system components for a deployment effort. Contributes to R&D proposals.Influences colleagues and direct customers to use appropriate computational tools and processes.This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to work 2-3 days a week onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field3+ years of experience writing software for data services3+ years of experience developing data pipelines3+ years of experience developing software products in a cloud environmentPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in a manufacturing, assembly and/or aerospace environmentExperience in data science, quantitative research science, or data analyticsDrug Free Workplace:
