Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position open for an Experienced Structural Engineer. Responsibilities include preparing structural analysis, designs, and calculations for new and renovated building structures for aviation, federal, and industrial clients; preparing construction documents; and assisting project managers to carry out project assignments. This position has the opportunity to provide mentorship and guidance to team members and work with the department manager to assist in plan the strategic growth of the team. Some travel will be required. The successful candidate will have all the following: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, architectural, or structural engineering At least six years of relevant work experience A PE or SE license in any state The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: Experience designing and detailing structural steel, light gage steel, concrete, masonry, and heavy timber structural building systems Experience with multi-floor building design Knowledge of codes, statues, and laws related to building design and construction Experience with RAM and/or RISA and other structural analysis software If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com/careers.
