WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will join our Technology Delivery team within our Enterprise Technology practice, serving end-to-end technology and digital transformations for our priority clients. You can look forward to being embedded in teams consisting of other driven and curious Bain staff, working alongside other teams on process excellence, architecture, design, and software development, among others. Mission
Ensure alignment between technology strategy and implementation, orchestrating client and third-party teamsImprove efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of clients’ business processes and operations in the context of large tech transformationsSupport implementation of large-scale transformation programs to ensure efficient and effective implementation of strategic recommendations that align with clients' goals and objectivesHelp in implementing project management strategies to achieve project objectives, including scope, schedule, and budgetEnsure efficient and effective implementation of strategic recommendations, utilizing project management principles to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomesIdentify issues, create hypotheses and execute analysis; translate data into meaningful insights; assist the team in presenting recommendations to key decision-makersMove the client to action; develop a plan to implement the strategic recommendations; manage the executionEssential Functions
Participate in end-to-end technology and digital transformation projects, solving the most pressing needs of our clients, focusing primarily on the delivery and operationalization of strategic initiatives to achieve significant outcomesSupport initiatives and project management activities, ensuring adherence to standards, governance, timelines, and quality expectationsCollaborate with project teams to document and effectively communicate project progress, risks, and issuesAssist in preparing and refining project deliverables, including comprehensive reports, workshop materials, and compelling business proposals, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectationsIdentify, gather, and interpret data from various sources, and present findings to the case teamIdentify issues, create hypotheses and execute analysis; translate data into meaningful insights; present data-driven insights and recommendations to key decision-makersConduct interviews with the client’s customers, competitors, suppliers, and employees to gather insights that inform the case team's strategic recommendations.Research the client organization and industry; interview, conduct focus groups and facilitate workshops with client employees, management teams and other stakeholdersStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, developing insights to enhance expertise and contribute effectively to client engagementsABOUT YOU
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Management or other tech-related fields. A Master’s degree will be an advantagePreferred: Courses in digital/tech transformationExperience
Fluency in English (written and spoken)1-2 years of experience in a technology consulting firm, or similar companies focused on delivering comprehensive technology solutionsKnowledge, skills and abilities
Sound knowledge and interest in IT and Technology (especially Tech B2B), e.g., IT operating models, enterprise architecture, cloud, process excellence, and business integrationA robust analytical skill set, endless curiosity, and a penchant for thinking the impossibleStrong verbal and written communication skills, effective collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience in extracting information from a wide variety of sources, including quantitative, qualitative and big data sourcesAbility to assist in preparing and presenting project deliverables to key decision-makers, articulating insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholdersSolid understanding of processes at the intersection of business and technology, familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices in program management, process improvement, and risk managementExperience using specific project management tools in large IT transformations such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, LeanIXEffective management skills, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful execution of project tasks and objectivesAbility to multitask with organized and deadline-driven ways of workingA solid team player who’s also an independent thinkerSelf-motivated and able to work under pressure and on a tight timeline
