Expert Decision Support Analyst

The Business Analyst will collaborate with clients and internal teams to address business challenges and identify opportunities throughout the delivery lifecycle. This role involves analyzing business information, translating client requirements into functional specifications, and ensuring that client needs are met while balancing various constraints. The analyst will facilitate business solution definitions and manage campaign processes, ensuring clients receive accurately prepared data. Additionally, the position includes measuring campaign effectiveness, providing data-driven insights, and supporting application administration and user training.
**What You Will Do**
As a Lead Decision Support Analyst at Acxiom, you will be at the forefront of delivering elite solutions that drive our clients' success. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-complexity assignments, where you will be the owner and lead expert. You will coordinate and review moderate and low-complexity tasks, ensuring detailed execution and alignment with Acxiom’s strategic goals. Your role will involve:
+ Leading high-complexity assignments and serving as the primary owner.
+ Owning one or more moderate-complexity assignments.
+ Providing oversight and review for low-complexity tasks.
+ Regularly leading teams and establishing yourself as a domain expert or specialist.
+ Ensuring that the overall picture aligns with Acxiom’s strategic objectives.
+ Developing, maintaining, and demonstrating extensive knowledge of our clients’ and Acxiom’s technical and business environments.
+ Being regarded as crucial to the client’s business success through your expertise.
+ Demonstrating extensive knowledge of Acxiom products, services, and solutions.
+ Understanding clients' business issues and goals related to marketing databases/solutions and making informed recommendations for new or enhanced solutions.
**What You Will Need**
To compete in this ambitious role, you must bring a proven track record of success and a deep understanding of the industry. Specifically, you will need:
+ A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 5 years with a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience.
+ Outstanding attention to detail for monitoring and auditing.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate with clients and collaborate with internal collaborators, answer complex questions, resolve issues, and conduct research for client marketing teams, including marketing management.
+ Experience in data processing and data integration.
+ Proficient understanding of relational database design.
+ Experience with Campaign Management Tools.
+ Proficiency in File Transfer Protocols.
+ Familiarity with standard methodologies, frameworks, and design principles in at least two of the following areas: SQL / PL-SQL, Perl, Shell Scripting, Campaign Management Tools, Business Intelligence.
