Need to be able to work the following hours for this position:
Non tax season 9:00 am - 5:00 pm CST-- Tax Season anywhere from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm CST
Hours are 8:00 am - 9:00 pm on weekends, must be capable of working starting or closing shift.
Only one weekend day is required.
This is only during tax season. After mid April, it is Monday - Friday.

Support DIY clients by answering questions as they are completing their taxes. Use your prior knowledge as well as research tax issues to resolve questions from DIY users. Provide tax-related guidance and project updates within the department as well as to other H&R Block departments.

Perform independent research and analysis of federal, state, local and international tax issues and forms.|

Research, analyze, and evaluate current year tax questions, tax forms, and other tax related issues to determine potential impact for H&R Block and its operations, and provide guidance as needed.

Participate in day-to-day projects to identify and resolve either tax-related or work-related issues. Lead research team projects to provide tax guidance to other departments and operations within H&R Block and stream department operations.

Provide written and verbal updates, as needed, on any identified new developments in tax law, including legislative changes, court decisions, and administrative guidance.
