Become a part of our team at Siemens Logistics GmbH now as Expert Material Flow Simulation (m/f/d) in Nuremberg.

In your new role the following activities will be part of your daily business:

Create and develop advanced simulation models to evaluate systems and specify control strategies Identify and implement optimization opportunities for the material handling systems during the planning and execution phases. Independently develop, enhance, maintain, and document simulation models and supporting software tools Develop, program, and document software modules, ensuring integration of multiple functions and dependencies Create, maintain, and document emulation models, and support in-house software testing Assist in defining internal and external system acceptance tests, and analyze and evaluate system test results Prepare detailed proposals, including text and calculations, for simulation projects Model and simulate logistics and production processes for turnkey construction projects Evaluate, document, and present simulation results to internal and external clients Provide optimization and consulting for projects regarding logistics and production planning Validate models in consultation with process experts and align processes with real-world construction sites Independently lead and execute simulation projects

Your qualifications

University (Master’s) degree, preferably majored in engineering, mathematics, computer science or a related field. A few years of working experience and also programming expertise, proficient in at least one programming language such as C++, Python or C# Software Design experience is part of your profile, skilled in software disng and creating reusable standard software modules. International working experience is a plus Structured and methodical work approach with excellent communication skills and proficiency in English Open minded team player who enjoys working in an international environment and highly motivated team with the ability to inspire and achieve goals collaboratively Willing to travel worldwide occasionally Proficiency in both spoken and written English due to multi-cultural working environment
