Accountabilities - Key activities
\nBid Management:
\n\nSupport the Gatekeeper from pre-bid to post bid on nominated AFR opportunities.\nManage incoming RFQ’s and work together with all stakeholders in preparing, finalizing and delivering a timely and winning tender response\nEngage with country teams and regional pricing teams to ensure all bid responses are checked & validated for accuracy, adherence to customer’s requirements\nTranslation and execution of CPT-IPT-CPT\nEvaluate country pricing to bid and benchmark against comparative bid data, so as to optimize customer pricing effectiveness\nDevelop and maintain strong contacts with internal customers such as Commercial Owner, Industry Sector Sales (Life Sciences and Healthcare, Chemicals, Automotive, Engineering & Manufacturing, Energy, Technology, Consumer and/or Retail), Account- and Product-Management\nKeep up to date with products and all relevant market information and developments\nFollow up on submitted bids with Bid Managers to understand and place on record the bid outcome and lesson learned\nUnderstand the complexity of customer’s requirements such as air and ocean transportation, sector specific knowledge, IT customer solutions etc.\nSupport and document online sourcing activates directly with the countries\nSupport and development of technical narratives related to Airfreight Solutions\n\nSanity Check & Review:
\n\nCheck of internal consistency with guidance/Pricing Instructions\nChallenge pricing as necessary with CACC/RACC\nSupport on re-rounds & final offers\nValidation with regional/countries as needed\nAnalysis to support walk-away decision\nSupport decision makers with final rounds\n\nSupport Continuous Improvement Processes:
\n\nShorten turn-around times & improve quality\nWork with Regional AFR teams to facilitate and enable competitive and differentiating AFR pricing solutions\n\nOther:
\n\nAs needed/required by Regional AFR Product\n\nGuidance of account owners
\n\nto provide relevant data and BI as basis for pricing instructions\nProactive bid preparation prior to bid launch Guidance of Commercial Owners on AFR RFQ approach\n\nSkills / Qualifications\nKey capabilities
\n\nKnowledge of Airfreight forwarding business and understanding of supply chain logistics\nOperations experience in a complex global environment\nVery Strong people and communication skills\nEffective time management with problem solving and decision making skills\nProven ability to work independently and as a team member\nFluency in English\n\nExpected years of experience
\n\nMinimum 3 years air operations experiences\nVery advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel\nAdvanced Project Management Skills\nVery good English skills, both written and spoken\n\nEducational Qualifications
\n\nDegree in Business Administration or related subject\n
