WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will join our Process Excellence team within our Enterprise Technology practice, focusing on Product Lifecycle Management and serving end-to-end BI projects across our priority clients. You can look forward to being embedded in teams consisting of other driven and curious Bain staff, working alongside consultants, other tech experts (e.g., Cloud, Architecture), design experts, and software developers, among others. With this uniquely diverse group, you will serve leading companies in every industry, helping them enhance PLM processes and solutions to drive innovation and efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Mission

Utilize PLM expertise to transform product development processes and support data-driven innovation, delivering strategic solutions that align with complex business objectivesDevelop and maintain strong senior client relationships, providing strategic insights and challenging existing processes to deliver business valueLead efforts to advance the capability of the team in areas of PLM Processes and Product Data Management

Essential Functions

Lead transformation initiatives to improve product lifecycle efficiency, collaborating with cross-functional teams on strategic PLM solutionsEnsure effective data management to support new product launchesServe as a subject matter expert for clients, offering profound knowledge of the PLM applications and incorporating an outside-in perspective by applying leading practicesCultivate strong client and stakeholder relationships to ensure change management success and communicate PLM concepts effectivelyPlan, execute, and manage quantitative and qualitative analyses of PLM processesPrepare and finalize project deliverables, including reports, workshop materials, and business proposalsEngage in project and program management activities, such as reviewing and maintaining project plans, actions, and risk logs; scheduling and leading project meetings; and documenting and following up on agreed actionsImplement focused change management strategies to ensure stakeholder buy-in and acceptance

ABOUT YOU

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer science, software engineering, computer programming, information technology, business informatics, or related fieldsPreferred: Advanced courses in PLM, supply chain, or data managementExperience10 years of technology experience, incl. 7+ years of PLM implementation experienceExperience in the Consumer Products and Retail sectors is a plusDemonstrated expertise in PLM platforms, with strong knowledge of SAP, Dassault, or Siemens. Experience with Q&FS processes is a plusConsulting background with demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a track record in managing and cultivating client relationships is highly desirable

Knowledge, skills and abilities

Strong expertise in PLM platforms, with familiarity with advanced PLM technologies and BI toolsStrong understanding of PLM processes and the ability to implement and optimize these processes within complex client environmentsUnderstanding of data flows across PPM and integrated applications e.g. common product data model across PLM & ERPSolid understanding of master data management, especially in the context of new product introduction processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and interpret large datasetsStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholdersAbility to work collaboratively in a global environment, working with different cultures and stylesFluency in English (written and spoken)
