Expert Technical Support Professional – Combustion Systems
Location: Brook Park, OH (Hybrid)
ABOUT THE ROLE
\nWe are seeking an Expert Technical Support Professional to provide technical and administrative support to our field service technicians who install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex process control and industrial combustion systems. This role is based in our Brook Park, OH office and follows a hybrid work model, offering flexibility between remote and in-office work (after 90 days).
\nAs a key liaison between field service teams, engineering, and customers, you will be responsible for processing service data, researching and diagnosing technical issues, and ensuring technicians have the necessary resources to resolve field challenges efficiently. Your expertise in process control or combustion systems will be essential in troubleshooting, documentation, and operational improvements.
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\nProvide remote support to field service technicians by researching and diagnosing issues related to process control and industrial combustion systems.\nAnalyze and process large volumes of service data, including system performance metrics, troubleshooting logs, and maintenance records.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including service manuals, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.\nAssist in scheduling, coordinating, and tracking field service activities to optimize technician efficiency.\nSupport warranty claims, service reports, and compliance documentation.\nIdentify trends in system failures and recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency.\nCommunicate with customers and internal teams to provide updates on service requests and technical resolutions.\nMaintain a strong understanding of Honeywell’s automation and combustion products to support field teams effectively.\nMay travel occasionally to assist at the customer sites.\nYOU MUST HAVE:
\n\n5+ years of experience in process control systems or industrial combustion systems (field service, technical support, or engineering).\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n\nWE VALUE
\n\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).\nExperience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\nFamiliarity with Honeywell or similar automation/control system technologies.\nKnowledge of remote diagnostics tools and service management software.\nSAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) experience.\nStrong analytical skills with experience handling and interpreting large datasets.\nProficiency in technical troubleshooting and problem resolution.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL
