Job DescriptionReporting to the Drilling Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for the execution and improvement of drill rigs and support equipment maintenance activities across Exploration. You’ll work with the Exploration team to ensure maintenance standards, schedules, and safety expectations are met.
This role requires a Monday through Friday 10-hour days schedule with on-call responsibilities
Adhere to safety protocols, environmental policies, and standard operating proceduresConduct daily equipment inspections, reporting and repairing defectsPerform routine maintenance and repairs on drill rigs, light vehicles, and support equipmentOperate and maintain various vehicles and equipment, including service trucks, forklifts, and commercial trucksMaintain accurate maintenance records, document work performed, and schedule repairsAssist in managing parts inventory and perform basic welding and fabrication for repairsDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the Exploration GroupPerform other duties as needed, including operating support equipment for diagnosis and department needsCurrent equipment includes but not limited to F150’s, F250’s, Dodge 5500 gas, Dodge 5500 diesel, Propane forklift, Case diesel forklift, Bobcat skid steer, CAT D5K dozer, CAT 420 backhoe, Sterling/International/Freightliner/Ford commercial trucks (Dump, water, and drill support), Allmand light towers, mobile trailers, and Boart Longyear LF90D drill rigsDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
