Job Description:
The L3Harris Export Administrator will be essential to coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure minimal delay in the shipping process. Collaboration will include working with the pack team, Customer Care Center, Trade Compliance, and Product Management.
Essential Functions:
Coordination with freight forwarders/carriers for best rates/routes/ETACertify on lithium ion battery transportationBreak down equipment by HTS, ECCN, COO, commercial value and complete AES filings for courier shipments and shipper’s letter of instructions for freight forwarder shipmentsTrack all shipments until delivery is completed, address any delays/questions/requests for additional documentation quickly to ensure customs clearanceUnderstand and execute to the CE processUnderstand and execute to the new additional EU requirementsUnderstand requirements/regulations for each countryIn addition to exports, Federal orders have special labeling requirements. Will train on UID/Mil-Std-129 labeling requirements, will need to coordinate with the customer care center, production team, and pack team to comply with Federal/contractual regulations as a secondary responsibility to exports.
