**Job Title: Export Container Loader** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Export Container Loader to join our team. This role requires a licensed sit-down forklift operator with general warehouse experience. The position involves receiving cargo, unloading trucks, and creating warehouse receipts using our warehouse management system. The hours are from 8am to 4pm with some overtime required. **Responsibilities** + Operate sit-down forklift to receive and unload trucks at the time of delivery. + Verify shipments to ensure they match inland freight bills. + Weigh, measure, and enter shipments into the warehouse management system. + Load export containers (20’, 40’, 45’) efficiently and safely. + General packaging and preparing shipments for export. + Organize shipments for FIFO processing and ensure timely same-day processing. **Essential Skills** + Licensed sit-down forklift operator. + Experience in general warehouse tasks such as receiving cargo, unloading trucks, and measuring shipments. + Proficiency in basic computer entry skills using desktop computers or tablets. + Experience with loading export containers, typically from working with a freight forwarder or ocean freight carrier. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be willing to assist with various roles in the warehouse as needed. + Experience with Microsoft Office and inventory control. **Why Work Here?** We are a family-owned company that values teamwork and dedication.
