Policy and Process
Implementation and Execution Policy in the area of Export Control; Transfer and implement globally defined processes to regional/local level where requiredResponsibility for compliance with export controlPerform ongoing self-assessmentsConsulting for all Export Control related questions on local level (" Go-to person")Monitoring of national export control law changesIssuing of instructions to all employees involved in the shipping process
Ensure operational tasks as described in policy are performed accordingly
Export Control Classification based on US, EU and national lawExport control license determination and application where requiredHandling of export control blocks e.g. in the central global trade system
Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor continuously the business activities in the area of responsibility and daily trade operations executionExecute at least one annual Export Control review on export control risks and issue report to defined stakeholdersReview and release of business activities with respect to: Sensitive business activities (goods, end use, embargoed countries), Trading and brokering transactions, Technology transfer, Relocation of machinery and equipment (MAE), Delivery of product without material number
Contact with third parties and authorities
Local export control license applicationReporting to local authorities and contact person and coordinator in case of local external and internal auditsQualificationsRequired Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of export controls incl. Export control classificationSuperior interpersonal and written/oral communication skillsAbility to act independently upon information and make decisions in adherence to compliance, regulations and policiesDemonstrated ability to effectively take action to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment and successful stress toleranceExcellent ability to maintain confidentialityOpenness to travel in Poland (about 10% of the time)
Education / Experience
Technical knowledge in the field of export control and sanctions compliance (practical qualification) – at least 3 yearsProfessional experience in the field of foreign trade (professional qualification) – at least 3 yearsIndependence in the function with respect to conflicts of interestExperience in ERP systems software (SAP GTS preferred)Additional InformationBenefits:
