Export Coordinators Supervisor

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

Consult with those who perform export duties for international shipments from North American plants, service centers, parts warehouse and other distribution locations. Coordinate as necessary with Fisher Project Management, Sales, and International Sales to coordinate timely shipment of projects. Review the management of orders through a variety of web-based tools. Provide training and support for Export Coordinators, international offices/contacts/representatives using Fisher system information. Oversee the correct completion of all documents and retrieval in accordance with record keeping requirements. Correspond with external organizations such as customs agents, freight forwarders and carriers. Handle confidential information such as: customer contracts, pricing and special credit terms, representative commission data and customer invoicing, carrier rates, drop shipment information, letters of credit, and certificates of origin. Ensure compliance with international laws, regulations, and procedures regarding movement of goods. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Responsible for communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results through performance reviews, coaching, counseling and mentoring. Recommends hiring of new employees and in maintaining staff through orienting and training. Resolves personnel issues by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions and recommending action. Setting of goals and objectives.

For this Role You Will Need:

Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience Interpersonal communication skills including verbal and written, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising and counseling skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

2+ years’ experience as an Export Coordinator or Trade Compliance. Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and procedures related to movement of goods. You adapt quickly to changing environment and resources Ability to lead change and innovation. A high sense of customer service
