BAT Vietnam has an exciting opportunity for a Repair & Renew (R&R) Officer in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This Role is a factory base resource to be responsible for planning; reviewing and monitoring all spares purchase and managing Repair & Renew (R&R) storage to ensure availability of spares for uninterrupted factory operation while minimizing inventory holding and obsolescence risk.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - BUSINESS
Monitor, review and improve the application and effectiveness of the Repair & Renew (R&R) Store processes, systems and procedures to improve stock accuracy to provide spares in timely. Monitor & ensure monthly KPIs report to SC finance and monthly Vietnam KPIs report to Asia Pacific regional to be reported on time. Work closely with technical team to execute plan to minimize stock holding and reduce obsolescence parts. Ensure spare parts categories, Spare Finder upload for all Viet Nam to Global to be updated on time & accurate Review all R&Rs policy procedures to comply with Group. Manage purchasing and order processing for spares, operating supply and maintenance service also, including direct procurement (SAP) and indirect procurement (Coupa) from first step (PR receiving) to final step (Payment processing) Ensure all spare parts and operating supplies in correct storage locations with correct quantity, always keep the Spare Store clean and tidy. Support technical projects to ensure those projects completed on time, within budget Ensure no major down and no quality related due to shortage of spare parts. Manage the order/issue spare parts correctly, compliance with policy and no majors are issued under monthly and yearly audit. Implement R&Rs DMS and Implement regular health check to make sure the health of DMS to deliver DMS glide path.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - PEOPLE
Propose & get buy-in from line manager for development plan to enhance both technical skill and leadership capability of the team. Improve self-confident from working with factory management Ensure to provide sufficient spare parts for factories consumption and with optimum inventory level. Ensure spare part purchasing transactions compliance with purchasing policy. Review and improve the application of the R&Rs store process, system and procedures to improve stock accuracy to provide spare parts in time and drive down cost to serve Explore alternative methodology & sourcing of spares to maximize part quality and support indirect saving initiatives. Propose “Continuous Improvement” initiatives within the function Maintain good & effective working relationship within company. Strengthen good relationship with operative staffsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Possess a degree or professional qualification in engineering with 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in the Secondary Manufacture Operations is an added advantage. Ability to work well and build effective relationship with colleagues & external/counterparts. Able to work independently and as a team also fast pacedFamiliar with Microsoft office (Ms. Word, Exel, PowerPoint). Able to communicate well in English both verbally and writing.
