About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Coordinator to join the Just Jeans Menswear team. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in design, product development and production and demonstrate your passion for product.
Reporting into the Senior Product Manager, this role will coordinate all aspects of range building and design, line administration, production tracking and ensuring effective communication with suppliers and internal team members for the smooth delivery of product to the Distribution Centres and stores.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of menswear range under direction of Product Manager. Assisting the Product Manager in the sampling approval process including fittings. Managing and tracking the sample and production process from initial development to shipment stage. Assisting the Product Manager with price negotiations. Liaising daily with our offshore suppliers and factories. Working with Product Manager to give feedback on all development including fabric quality, lab dips and trims. Briefing new ranges to suppliers for development. Maintaining effective relationships and regular communication with suppliers. Updating and maintaining range storyboards. Coordinating samples for photo shoots and advertising. Supporting the product team with administrative needs. Create sales reports to assist in sales and stock analysis.Skills & Experience
2-3 years’ experience in a Product Coordinator or Production Assistant role is preferable. Qualification in Fashion and Textile is advantageous. Skilled with Adobe, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Proactive, motivated and likes working in a fast pace environment. Have great attention to detail and works well under pressure. High level of productivity and efficiency. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Be a collaborative team member who is also able to coach junior team members. Previous experience in menswear highly regarded. Demonstrated success in improving processes and increasing efficiencies.Perks
