Key Responsibilities:
 

Develop and implement category strategies that align with our overall business goals. Drive cost savings and efficiency improvements across assigned categories. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective procurement and supply chain management. Monitor and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
 

What will you bring?
 

Australian Citizenship with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain). Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Law or in any related discipline. Proven experience in category management or a related field. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Knowledge of Defence and Aerospace industry standards and regulations. Knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth Procurement processes and policies and practical application of the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines would be advantageous.
