We are seeking to receive expressions of interest from Town Planners throughout the UK! This is an exciting time to join Arup. We are experiencing significant growth in our planning business so are looking for talented and experienced town planners to join our national award-winning town planning team, delivering some of the most complex and challenging projects throughout the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new chapter at Arup and help us grow our business. Across the UK, we are currently recruiting Infrastructure Planners and Policy Planners. Our Infrastructure Planners work on a wide range of infrastructure projects including energy, water, road, rail, ports airports etc. from project inception through to delivery on-site. Our Policy Planners work on an exciting range of projects responding to the new Government’s growth agenda and directly shaping the future of places. Our new planners will be a key part of the team winning new work and leading the delivery of a wide range of high-profile projects.

We provide a holistic service to meet the aspirations and needs of developers, communities, local planning authorities and central government. As winners of the RTPI’s Planning Excellence Awards in recent years, our clients expect us to provide innovative, professional and reliable advice. We are seeking Town Planners across a range of experience levels. Whether you are at the early stages of your Town Planning career or bring extensive experience, including team leadership, we have opportunities available that align with your expertise. We have offices throughout the UK and can offer flexibility on which office you choose to work from on a hybrid basis.

We are interested in speaking with individuals at all levels of seniority who possess the following qualifications and skills.

Degree and/or masters in town planning or similar such as geography. Good knowledge of planning legislation and planning policy. Ability to articulate complex issues, write reports, present effectively and manage client relationships. You may be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI), however this is not essential for all the roles.
