This critical initiative ensures the continued effectiveness of military air traffic control capabilities across RAAF bases nationwide. As a Systems Engineer within the ADATS CAP program, you will play a vital role in implementing system upgrades across RAAF bases. Working with the Project IPT Lead and engaging with key stakeholders, you will ensure successful integration of modern COTS solutions while maintaining critical operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Support technical integration of system upgrades with existing ADATS infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation across multiple RAAF sites nationwide.Analyse and document system interface requirements between COTS components and legacy systems.Execute verification and validation activities, including factory and site acceptance testing.Identify technical risks and implement approved mitigation strategies for system integration challenges.Work collaboratively with subcontractors and stakeholders in executing system implementation and transition plans.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

University Degree in Engineering.Minimum 2 years' relevant engineering experience.Demonstrated understanding of systems engineering principles and practicesProven technical problem-solving skills with ability to work under general supervision.Experience in requirements analysis and system integration activities.

Desirable:

Experience working with defence or aviation systems.Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as DOORS and Cameo Systems Modeler.Experience working with COTS integration in complex technical environments.

Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at
