Job Description

Our Exterior Aircraft Cleaner Supervisor oversees the team responsible for cleaning and maintaining the exterior of aircraft. This role involves scheduling and coordinating cleaning operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The supervisor trains and guides staff in the use of specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals, and monitors the team's performance to ensure efficiency and thoroughness. Additionally, you will work with maintenance and operations departments to facilitate seamless integration of cleaning activities with other airport processes, while also handling administrative duties such as inventory management and reporting.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS AN EXTERIOR AIRCRAFT CLEANER SUPERVISOR

· You like working as a team, toward a common goal

· Oversee and direct daily operations of exterior aircraft cleaning teams

· Implement and monitor cleaning schedules to ensure timely service for aircraft

· Train and mentor cleaning staff in effective cleaning techniques and safety procedures

· Conduct regular inspections to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are maintained

· Coordinate with ground operations and maintenance teams for efficient workflow

· Manage the use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies

· Enforce adherence to safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment

· Address and resolve any operational issues or personnel conflicts in the team

· You have a great attention to detail

· You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks

· Several years of Management or Supervisory skills

· Like to build long term relationships with your customers

· Physical activity may include:

· Stand and walk for extended periods of time

· Ability to lift 70 pounds or more

· Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment

· Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

Qualifications

· Minimum age of 18 years old

· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents

· 1 Year of Customer Service

· 1 Year of cleaning or maintenance experience

· Knowledge of the Aviation Industry

· Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets

· Ability to pass a drug screen

· Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
