This position will lead a team to develop and implement process, tooling, facilities, and equipment to deliver the launch of new vehicle programs. Collaboration with the various plant and skill teams will be paramount in successfully implementing projects, so a dynamic, self-driven, highly collaborative individual is sought for this great opportunity to lead the way in establishing the future of manufacturing at Ford.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher Self-motivated, organized, curious, creative, hands-on, and collaborative individual At least 5 years' direct experience with manufacturing (Plant, VME, PTME, etc) – preferably from multiple skill teams and with deep understanding of automotive manufacturing systems Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects at once with great attention to detailPreferred Requirements
Experience in developing and launching manufacturing systems, equipment specification and installation, and project management. Experience leading cross-functional teams, preferably in a creative environment. Knowledge of process, tooling, and equipment used in the automotive industry. Knowledge of automation, robotic, and/or other equipment used in the automotive assembly industry

Deliver Manufacturing Delivery Quality Operating System requirements for multiple Subsystems (Electrical, Powertrain, Suspension, Exterior, Interior). Supervise a team of engineers responsible for the development and implementation of process, tooling, and equipment required for the assembly of existing and new product programs in final assembly for North America plant locations. Develop Scope of Work to support new product requirements from conception through implementation, including sequence of operations, FMEA, equipment design, automation, feasibility, proof of concept, and launch implementation. Lead and develop supplier partnerships to deliver manufacturing solutions Teach/Coach/Mentor employees, peers, and leadership Document technical knowledge and establish standards. Provide technical leadership to assure the delivery of system performance, and project management skills to achieve desired timing Ensure the identification of lessons learned and their application to subsequent systems. Support Department Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Morale, Environment, and Innovation (SQDCPMEI) initiatives.
