This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and an understanding of exterior scheduled services and enhancement proposals. **Duties to Include:** + Develop, plan, and put in place complex procurement strategies and roadmap based on business goals. Present results of reports to Sr management, along with their relative impacts on the business. + Partner with Finance to outline potential value, risk, and ROI for proposed initiatives and track as needed. + Assist with the development of policies and procedures, playbooks, and other organizational materials on landscaping and snow removal supplier management. + Run projects within the procurement space, as needed. Act as subject matter expert on compliance with public contracts regulations and legislative requirements during project delivery. + Serve as an urgent and high-level point of contact for the business and its leaders. + Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives. + Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function. + Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies. + Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals. + Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence. + Supporting Procurement with the development of a strategy to develop a rationalized and more strategic supplier base of landscaping and snow service providers + Account level management of our strategic supplier partnerships with landscaping and snow service providers - working with strategic suppliers to develop and implement strategies and initiatives to improve the quality of our landscaping and snow programs, supplier performance management + Being an SME for landscaping and snow services - being able to provide input on SOW’s, helping direct improvements that may be needed at a programmatic level, supporting RFP’s with subject matter expertise + Support the Operations team specific to the Exterior Services program and help coordinate activities between Procurement, Operations, and the client Responsibilities will include partnering closely with the Operations team (Regional Operations Managers, Operations Managers, Exterior Services Managers and Exterior Services Coordinators in each region) to provide needed support, including + help communicate strategies and coordinate initiatives that will advance the program + foster alignment with the operational needs of the account + help drive the quality outcomes required at each property + driving process improvement plans that may be needed with both strategic suppliers and (working with ESM’s) non-strategic supplier **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility, preferred. + Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business. + Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. + Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
