We are looking for an External Manufacturing Projects & Excellence Lead, to join our Business Excellence department, based in our hub in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium.

 

About the Role

 

This role is crucial in driving operational excellence in UCB External Manufacturing department. The successful candidate will be a change agent, leading the transformation in external manufacturing to enhance productivity and efficiency.

 

You Will Work With

 

You will collaborate closely with the UCB Patient Supply PMO community, Internal stakeholders and project managers.

 

What You Will Do     

     

Lead and manage the review of the external manufacturing project portfolio.Ensure timely and successful delivery while adhering to financial and capacity plans.Train team members in the PMO journey.Maintain and develop PMO governance by integrating improvement initiatives.Manage the Departmental Dashboard (e.g., Balance Scorecard).Prepare and organise Prioritisation/Delivery Board meetings.Contribute to performance measurement by defining and managing departmental KPIs.Lead Operational Excellence initiatives, such as the Lessons Learned exercise, aiming to eliminate waste (lean) and reduce variability (six sigma) by conducting assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.Develop and maintain a continuous Operational Excellence culture within External Manufacturing.Manage the cartography for External Manufacturing Business Process Mapping to optimise internal and transversal processes.

 

 

Interested? For this position, you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:

 

Master’s degree in any relevant field.5-10 years of experience in senior PMO management.Black Belt in Lean & Six Sigma, Project, Program, and Portfolio Management.English is a must; French is a plus.Confirmed experience in a manufacturing plant subject to cGxP environmentConfirmed experience in portfolio and project management, lean and six sigma implementations.
