What does an External Patroller do in Airdrie?

Exterior and Interior Patrolling Operate security systems such as CCTV cameras, alarms and access control systems. Generate and analyze security reports Access control and monitoring- monitor entry and exit points to control access, included restricted areas using security cameras. Observing activities and identify potential security breaches. Build rapport with all clients, tenants and visitors Detect, question, and relocate unwanted persons. Resolve or disputes peacefully and effectively. Access control within the property Meet and great engagement with customers, employees, and visitors that enter the site

Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a External Patroller:

Valid Alberta provincial security guard license 1-3 years of experience as Security Guard Advanced computer and telephonic skills Legally entitled to work in Canada and must be in Canada for minimum 5 years Advanced operate security systems- surveillance, alarms and access control systems Advanced interpersonal and proactive engagement skills Ability to respond effectively to active threats or violent incidents with speed, precision and decisiveness Proficient in dealing with individuals and being able to demonstrate active listening by fully focusing on others. Ability to work under pressure Time management and Client relationship management High school diploma or equivalent First aid and CPR certification is an asset 1 minimum experience of customer service background
