Job Description:

Location: Newark, Delaware

CoWorx Staffing Services has immediate temp to hire Extrusion Machine Operator/Plastic Manufacturing openings with a fantastic, employee focused client in the Newark, DE area.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor Extrusion Machines at a high level of quality
Assist with mold changes, material changes, and setup
Set up and operate the extruder using a prior run sheet utilizing standard extrusion practices
Demonstrate working knowledge of hand and power tools and measurement equipment
Load, Unload, and clean extruder hopper
Monitor process conditions on extruder
Operate cutting equipment to cut stock shapes to final size
Operate scales and micrometers/calipers to measure the final product
Clean molds using a pyrolysis oven, grinders, and sand blaster equipment

Desired Background/Skills:

CNC troubleshooting experience REQUIRED
Experience operating material handling devices (fork truck, hand truck, etc.)
Perform TPM, including monitoring and adding oil and grease to maintain appropriate levels.
Perform other duties in the Extrusion area as assigned.
