Job Description:

Location: Newark, Delaware

CoWorx Staffing Services has immediate temp to hire Extrusion Machine Operator/Plastic Manufacturing openings with a fantastic, employee focused client in the Newark, DE area.

CNC troubleshooting experience REQUIRED
Overnight Shift: Starts at 8 PM or 10 PM (must train on 1st shift for 1-2 months)
1st Shift: 7 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday – Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor Extrusion Machines at a high level of quality
• Assist with mold changes, material changes, and setup
• Set up and operate the extruder using a prior run sheet utilizing standard extrusion practices
• Demonstrate working knowledge of hand and power tools and measurement equipment
• Load, Unload, and clean extruder hopper
• Monitor process conditions on extruder
• Operate cutting equipment to cut stock shapes to final size
• Operate scales and micrometers/calipers to measure the final product
• Clean molds using a pyrolysis oven, grinders, and sand blaster equipment

Desired Background/Skills:

• Experience operating material handling devices (fork truck, hand truck, etc.)
• Perform TPM, including monitoring and adding oil and grease to maintain appropriate levels.
• Perform other duties in the Extrusion area as assigned.
