**Extrusion Machine Operator :3rd shift - $23 to $24 an hour** 3rd shift from 7PM-7AM Monday-Thursday. (Training is done on 1st shift with senior operators) *Can pay higher for candidate with extensive experience *Must have 1+ years of Plastic Extrusion experience (Blow mold or Injection might work depending on experience) **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating extrusion machines based on production schedules, performing inspections, and ensuring the quality of produced parts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in extrusion machine operation and be comfortable with occasional forklift operation. **Responsibilities** + Set up extrusion machines according to the production schedule, including die and roll changes. + Perform first and last article inspections and log data into Excel documents using the metric system. + Adjust machines if inspections are not accurate. + Conduct visual quality inspections for color, shrinkage, etc. + Operate a forklift occasionally as needed. + Lift up to 50 pounds, with team lifts for heavier items. + Utilize small cranes at each machine for setting dies and rollers. **Essential Skills** + Prior extrusion machine operating experience. + Experience in injection molding or blow molding may be considered. + Machinery setup experience, including setting dies and rollers and inputting speeds/feeds. + Experience with micrometers, calipers, and gauge measuring, using the metric system. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with polypropylene and/or polyethylene plastics. + Leadership, supervision, or management experience is a plus, with opportunities for upward mobility due to upcoming retirements. **Why Work Here?** We offer a clean and climate-controlled work environment, job security, and opportunities for growth.
