Extrusion Process Technician II - The Toro Company

Pay: $18+/hour

Overview:  

The ideal Extrusion Process Technician will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. You will be in charge of maintenance and project tasks of great variety such as installations, production support for equipment maintenance, PMs scheduling, process implementation etc.

Responsibilities:

Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, OEE, costs and changeovers.Provide technical expertise in the evaluation of process design, problem resolution, cost control, and quality.Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining high Quality levels.Updates and maintains process records with latest data available. Collect, record and interpret data. Create necessary reports using verifiable data.Submit improvement ideas to department manager with a focus on cost reduction activities including scrap reduction, Quality improvements and process optimization.Drive change to be the go-to expert responsible for mentoring technicians and other technical staff to implement industry best practices.Evaluate processes and develops standards for the department utilizing the “team approach”.

Qualifications:

3+ years Extrusion PreferablePlastic injection3+ years MaintenanceFacility Maintenance               Mid to Expert knowledge in ExtrusionElectrical installation experiencePneumatic installation and handlingChiller installationPLC/ Software programming preferable

Other Job-Related Components:

Responsible for assisting in the day to day operation including off shifts and weekends as this is a 24 hour operation.
